Darfur:  End the Genocide

Mr. President,

Christ Church Cathedral in Cincinnati joins with Jewish World Watch to form an Ecumenical Coalition on Human Rights.  The Coalition urges immediate action to end the genocide in Darfur and restore humanitarian aid in Sudan.  We urge you to:

    • Publicly call for the international community to demand a restoration of aid and isolation
      of President Bashir;
      Conduct a private diplomatic effort to explore how governments could downgrade
      relations with Bashir and eventually end his 20-year presidency; and
      Form a coalition that can both negotiate with and pressure Sudan to seek peace in
      Darfur as well as implement the existing peace agreement for the South.
