Mission Goals |
The Human Rights Ecumenical Coalition is sponsored by Christ Church Cathedral’s Mission Outreach Committee, Reconciliation & Social Justice Ministries, and Darfur Committee. The Coalition works to mobilize churches, synagogues, mosques and other congregations and organizations to combat genocide and other egregious violations of human rights around the world. Similar to Jewish World Watch, the mission goals of CCC Ecumenical Coalition are to:
1. Educate by developing appropriate materials and programs.
2. Advocate for policies to stop genocide and other atrocities through community organization and mobilization; and
3. Develop Refugee Relief Projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of survivors and victims of human rights atrocity.

Goodness is contagious. Goodness is marvelously infectious. |
"Local and national churches — not of our faith — have discovered our address and helped us morally and financially, and supported the work of Jewish World Watch. I call your attention to the embrace by churches and congregations of conscience: Baptist, Catholic, United Churches of Christ, Congregational, Episcopalian, Ethical Culture, Foursquare, Islamic, Lutheran, Methodist, Mormon, Presbyterian, and Unitarian."
